The First Idea

Parenting.org sought a refreshed look, but the real need was restructuring the content to improve usability. The goal was to create a site where visitors could quickly find the information they needed and connect with stories that resonated with them. To achieve this, search functionality was placed prominently above the fold, while articles were displayed in a waterfall layout, organized by both popularity and most recent through an automated algorithm.

Developed a mobile layout consistent with the desktop version, using a two-card, half-screen format instead of the conventional stacked list. This approach maintained legibility while improving usability and engagement on smaller screens.
